This yarn is so big, soft, and cushy that it makes the most comfy blanket ever! It’s called Baby Blanket yarn, but I wanted a more grown-up contemporary look so I kept it simple with the stitches and design. This blanket is totally beginner-friendly and you will end up with a gorgeous, soft, modern-looking accent for your home. The finished size is approximately 34” x 59”.

Materials:
Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in Baby Sand – 3 skeins
Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in Little Sandcastles – 1 skein
Hook size L
Abbreviations:
Ch – chain
Sc – single crochet
Sc blo – single crochet back loop only
St, sts – stitch, stitches
Notes:
- Ch 1 at beginning of row does not count as stitch.
- I highly recommend using a stitch marker to mark the end of each row. This yarn is very thick and it can be hard to tell where to put your last stitch.
- Single crochet back loop only is just that. You crochet only under the back loop instead of under both as in a typical single crochet. See photos below.
