Oh, these colors!! I just love them. I wanted to find the best way to highlight them together, and the single crochet stitch did the trick. This is a very simple scarf to make but it’s absolutely stunning once it’s complete. A really cool thing about this scarf is that the Yellowstone color is more prominent on the reverse side – so it’s like getting two scarves in one! The scarf measures 70” long without the fringe, and 9 1/2” wide. This will be a beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe, and it’s a relaxing piece to crochet. Plus, no need to weave in the ends – they become part of the fringe! Yay!!

For the fringe:
You will need 60 strands of Badlands and 90 strands of Yellowstone. Cut your strands about 16” long. The easiest way I’ve found to do this is to wrap my yarn around a book, and then cut one end. (You can see photos of how I do this in this post.) Then fold each strand in half, pull the loop through the space where you want it, and then pull the two loose ends through the loop. Tighten. (You can see photos of how to add fringe in this post.) You can space the fringe however you like. After it’s attached, the fringe is about 6” – 7” long.
