*Please be aware that the Vanna’s Glamour yarn used in this pattern has been discontinued.*

The Champagne Wrap is a glamorous blend of sparkly yarns that will make any occasion a little more special. When I designed it, I pictured it grazing the shoulders of an elegant evening dress. But then I realized it would be the perfect way to add a little bling to a casual sweater and jeans! It’s super comfy to wear, and really quick to work up using basic stitches. Ready to add a little glamour to your wardrobe? Crochet on!!

Notes:

  1. Beginning chains do not count as stitches.  Always make your first stitch in the very first stitch in the row.
  2. I recommend placing a stitch marker in the first stitch of each row so you know exactly where to place your last stitch on the next row.  It’s the easiest way to ensure even rows without having to count your stitches.

Construction:

Fold the wrap as shown below and using your tapestry needle, sew along the seams where indicated.  I recommend coordinating the color of your sewing yarn to the stripe on the wrap.  For example, use the onyx yarn to sew just along the small onyx colored stripe, and use the platinum color for the platinum stripe.  It means changing your thread more often, but it will look nicer.
