February 20, 2019 1:40 amLooking for a clarification. Row 1, is it skip (sk) 2 stitches? The legend says st or set, but there is nothing for skip.
It’s a beautiful piece and it’s on my to do list, I just want to get it right.
Thanks!

February 20, 2019 5:13 pmHi Shari,
For Row 1, you are working into your starting chain. So you count to the second chain from your hook and make your first stitch there. So there will be a loop on your hook, one chain that you will skip, and then you single crochet into the next chain. Hope this helps!!
I’m glad you like the pattern, and I hope you enjoy making it!
Sincerely,
Tia

Thanks so much!
Row 2: Turn, ch 1, sc in first st, sk 2, *5 dc in next st, sk 2, sc in next st, sk 2*. Repeat from * to * across row. Sc in last st. 30 full shells.
