About me

Hi! I’m Tia. I’m originally from Maryland, but I now love calling North Carolina my home. I learned to crochet for the first time from my aunt when I was expecting my first child. Needless to say, after he was born, there wasn’t much time to crochet. Then came my daughter, and other than sewing Halloween costumes for them, most of my crafting time was spent doing projects with them. We started doing an annual Christmas project together when they were small, and it’s something we still get together to do every year. Fast forward about 25 years. I decided to give crochet a try again. It came back to me fairly quickly after I followed a few online videos. 

Once I got comfortable with it, I started altering patterns and then creating my own patterns. Next step was sharing them with all of you! I get my inspiration from various places, but mostly it comes from whatever my needs are at the time (like a purse or a bench cover, etc.) and whatever yummy yarn I come across!

Along with crocheting, I like to share other simple things that I’ve found that make my life easier. Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you that I’m the go-to person for whatever is quick and easy. It’s just the way I roll. ????
